The breakfast was bountiful, the hotel was charming little and clean. The staff were attentive and caring, and the executive king room we booked was nicely furnished. The location was incredible, not too far from an eight - floor mall. Visited few places in the center, a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

The hotel is very well appointed - rooms are up-to-date and have all the little extras (e.g., robes) that make a difference. Having complimentary breakfast and evening wine is great...and the price is very reasonable, especially given its location, the amenities, and the condition of the hotel. I would recommend asking for a room on the 2nd floor in the back (like 218, for edxample). Very quiet, nice Hollywood Hills views, and balcony. I highly recommend the hotel!

It was absolutely great and better than we had expected! The room was so cosy and the fact that they had free wifi, complimentary breakfast, complimentary wine and cheese between 5-7 pm and that they were so helpful with our tour arrangements, makes this hotel the perfect stay when you're in LA. It's a small hotel but you won't get better personalized service than when staying here.

When enquiring direct with the Elan Hotel about the size of the Double Deluxe Room whick we booked, we were upgraded to an Executive King Room at no extra cost. This was much appreciated, as was the "Happy Hour" of complimentary wine and cheese they put on for guests every evening. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful.

This is probably the best hotel of a few dozen I stayed at in the US. It is not cheap, in my book, but worth every penny. I enjoyed a good selection of snacks and drinks in the room's mini bar and of course the complimentary cheese and wine in the afternoon
As I came down to the front desk to check out, there were no staff there. I could see two staff in a small room behind the front desk and said Hello and Excuse me to get their attention but they could not hear because of some loud gathering in the lobby. It took me a couple of minutes to get their attention.

Couple's Recommended Stay
So, we checked into this hotel for our 3 nights stay, right? Jeff at the front desk was awesome! I asked for a room facing away from the street and it was quiet, like, surprisingly peaceful. The wine and cheese they served in the evening was a nice touch before hitting up the local hotspots to see some friends.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for, right?

room was not what I expected from the website photos. Much smaller than I expected. Bed uncomfortable. Coffee from inroom coffee pot tasted like plastic.

Excellent service and very helpful staff.
Everything was great, from the complimentary breakfast was very good to the free internet. Located near the Beverly Center, great for shopping, and located near excellent restaurants and nightlife.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Vibes
The staff offered complimentary wine and cheese, a good surprise. The spacious room was comfortable for a couple, but the parking situation was quite tight. Consider arriving early to secure a spot!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, with a good bed, lovely linens, and a beautifully appointed bathroom with loads of towels, good mirror, robe and slippers and nice toiletries.
Room service was mentioned, and so I was very surprised to find that there was no restaurant. Delivery from a local deli was available, and area restaurants were listed, but I would not have chosen the hotel if I had known there was no on-site restaurant. A wine and cheese reception in the evening ended before I came in for the evening; thankfully, the wine and some cheese and crackers had not yet been cleared away. The complimentary breakfast was generous and delicious.
